The Cassandra Complex has been a major force in the alternative circuit since their inception in the simultaneously dark and colourful 80s. They are still considered pioneers of Industrial Rock, a combination of danceable electro and searing guitars that has influenced countless of other musicians throughout the years.
The band pertinently refuses to rest on the laurels created by older hits and continue to write new material on a regular basis. The most recent release is the album 'The Plague' from 2022, which got rave reviews and spent quite some time on the highest spot in the German alternative charts. Fans won't have to wait long to hear new songs either, because the band's currently working on a new album and a new EP, both to be released in 2024.
