On the 31st of May 2025, singer and founding member Colin Jerwood died unexpectedly. The band will pay a few more concerts to honour his memory and will officially disband in September 2025.

Conflict represented both the best of the British anarcho punk scene and the activism with which thousands in countries all over the world fight authority and stand up for equality, justice and inclusion for humans and animals. Their views were equally important as their music and they didn't hesitate to let you realize this while on stage. This band didn't shy away from any confrontation and has been an inspiration for numerous anarchists and rebellious minds for over 40 years. Together, they were and still are The Ungovernable Force.
