Enzo Kreft has been a cult figure in the Belgian Minimal Electro scene since the early 80s. His musical output is simultaneously dark and melodic, always emphasizing a clear message. This is a voice of protest against our daily oppression at the hands of politicians, their uniformed goons and the real leaders of this world, the managers of the big technology corporations.
Throughout the years, he has released several albums, from the cassette tape 'Me is!' in 1983 up to the cd 'Shelter' in 2023, with the masterpiece 'Control' in 2019 as a creative highlight. At the moment, he's working on 'Dictator', a concept album about the suffocating live under a dictatorship, the power of propaganda, the threat of censorship and the tragedy of exile, all unavoidable consequences of the global tendency towards authoritarian rule by a small elite. It's hard to find a more contemporary subject matter.
