Less Autre consists of six musicians who effortlessly mix genres and styles. Since their inception in 2019, they've been creating their quirky interpretation of what others call post-punk, new wave, indierock or chanson. The result always sounds simultaneously excentric, original and authentic.
The band have resolutely decided to sing only in French, which adds significantly to the unique atmosphere of their concerts and recordings. The overwhelmingly positive reviews in the French music press have proven this wasn't a bad move at all. The most recent release is January 2025's EP 'Rêve perdu', a collction of brand new songs full of respectful reference to their heroes.
