V2A can hardly be considered a traditional band. Rising from the ruins of our crumbling world, the post-apocalyptic horde known as The Cult of V2A marches from stage to stage to confront the audience by means of blistering Industrial Electro with the doomed future mankind has created for itself.
Founded in 2001 by the duo and nucleus of the band Drone 304 and Mechanized 316, the band has evolved into a stalwart of the worldwide festival circuit, with performances on the big alternative stages of the US, Australia and Europe. New recruits have been enlisted and the shows are constantly becoming more and more spectacular. Extensive sets, motor bikes, flamethrowers, if the physical space allows for it and the local fire brigade captain has been resuscitated, everything is possible.
Other than their own album releases, the band is closely involved in soundtracks, including the music for the documentary surrounding the 40th anniversary of 'Mad Max 2: The road warrior', has released its own computer game 'Desert Pirates' and is even working on a secret project that will not be revealed for the time being.
The 13th of March 2026 witnessed the release of the single 'Nuclear winter', preceding the new album which is due to appear at the horizon in a cloud of toxic smoke by the end of April 2026.
