After 45 years, De Brassers are calling it a day, but not without one final concert during which they'll confront the audience one more time with the elements that have always characterised them. Each song will be an epitomy of intense music, piercing lyrics and a dark atmosphere that many have tried to copy, but only a few have equaled.
This is the end of a legend that has influenced thousands of people, including some of the best known musicians of the country. It stands to reason this won't be just an ordinary concert. De Brassers have invited a few friends to join them on stage during their final trip to history. Who this friends will be, will remain a mystery until the night of the concert, though.
The concert takes place in Brussels, a city they've always felt connected to, more specifically in the AB, where, in 1980, they once played their first major concert outside their home region of Limburg. As the concert will be held in the AB Box, the capacity is limited. If you want to attend, you're strongly advised to buy a presale ticket.
Both the support acts are relatively new alternative bands, consisting of young people keeping the fire burning.
After the concert, there's a free afterparty at Café Central, located really close to the AB.
