The band refer to themselves as eco-wave, composing fairytale-like postpunk songs with a playful ecosocialist layer. Or one could simply call it lively, contemporary and relevant.
Nona Problemo was formed in 2021, as a creative reaction to the pandemic. Having played a total of just three live concerts, they won the Vlaams-Brabant edition of Sound Track, a competition to provide chances for young Belgian bands. Since then, they're spending a lot of their spare time in the recording studio, which resulted in a first single, 'Sci-Fi Submarine' in October 2022, a precursor to their first EP, which was released in February 2023.
